Research Group: Communications

Introduction

This group has been recently created in the Electronics Coordination, in this group they carry out research and development in different fields such as: signal processing, optoelectronic systems and solid state devices for communications implementations.

Group Researchers.

Currently the Instrumentation Group has three researchers:

Jovanovic-Dolecek, Gordana
Torres Torres, Reydezel
Zaldívar Huerta, Ignacio

Currently we have one visiting researcher:
Fernández Vázquez, Alfonso
Group Lines of Research:

This group’s lines of research are:

Digital Signal Processing: Research in signal processing methods for communications applications along with studies in sampling techniques and filter designs, -with reference to Digital Communications Theory-.

Fiber-Optics Communications Systems: We develop fiber optics based communications systems, and research in material’s properties this kind of communications by studying chromatic dispersion and other effects.

Radiofrequency Systems: We carry out research for analytical characterization of transition effects in structures for radiofrequency transmissions. Additionally, experimental studies in these structures are performed.

Doctorate students:

Conde Sánchez José Miguel
Rao Nagral Naina
Aguayo Rodríguez Gustavo
