The harbor of Veracruz is a city founded in 1519 and located in the Mexican Gulf. It is easily reachable by road and plains. Veracruz is well known for its cultural diversity and the people‘s hospitality. The state of Veracruz offers wide biodiversity, beautiful beaches, riffs and a subtropical forest. Music is vital in the life of local people (known as “jarochos”). In their traditional music rhythms, we can find danzon, son, salsa, and marimba, among others. Veracruz is also known for having delicious cuisine. This results from fresh ingredients and cooking techniques based on the mixture of pre-Hispanic, European and African cultures. Besides, Veracruz is also a modern city with all the facilities for a pleasant stay.
